So I have become a big fan of Kickstarter, I understand that in my case and many others it is really just a "pre-release" discount starter in some cases, but in other cases there are some real unique things that can be found in its offerings. I have participated in a Red Box Games, a Cool mini or Not, and a mercs minis kickstarter. Some I have already received and others not so much. One I have received and begun to assemble was one posted by
renaissance miniatures. In this case their east asian terrain. I have assembled my first two and wanted to share. Really looking forward to putting this on the table when it is all assembled. So far I have done the potters house and the ronin house.
The pictures are not great, I lost my " picture booth" during our move, but they are quite attractive and easy to assemble. I have run into a few snags with the width of certain gaps but all in all an amazing product that really showcases the talent of the husband and wife team ( and the laser) that run the company. They will be doing a ship kickstarter later in the year and I look forward to seeing what they have to offer.
