I wanted to offer something that no one would probably have in any great quantity. Really I am just trying to con people into playing some WotR and telling me about it xD.
This campaign is actually an offspring of another campaign I am working on that is more story driven. I wrote this one to satisfy the incorporation of battle companies which seemed to interest a lot of people at the time and it was less complicated than an overarching story.Jobuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04590832576876653676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4639372966548459342.post-34161202611089463452009-04-22T07:30:00.000-04:002009-04-22T07:30:00.000-04:001. dude, it is a friendly series of games. Like poker night. no biggie. investment means vestment to play and have fun. awards are only secondary gain at best.

2. ok. but i remember similar campaigns and even DnD. Personal character developments isn't the same as an over arching story.fracashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18249307516231136868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4639372966548459342.post-85078024107038873842009-04-21T10:43:00.000-04:002009-04-21T10:43:00.000-04:001. no way, no money. I also don't want someone who is new to come in and feel shafted if this campaign does not work out well.
2. We have character development with the battle companies. One reason I went this route was to incorporate the battle companies without a lot of complexity while also trying to be fair. A battle company can be very powerful alone, remember the BC is in addition to your 600pt army not inclusive. A player can get screwed if a lot of the members of his battle company are on the sideline with injuries(or dead) and he is forced to fight with his BC first. That is why the loser of the BC battle gets to pick the scenario in Legions vs rolling for it. It is probably not clear but the idea was to use your experience/influence between all battles, even between a BC scenario battle and a Legions scenario battle on the same night.Jobuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04590832576876653676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4639372966548459342.post-13498899083929741182009-04-20T21:54:00.000-04:002009-04-20T21:54:00.000-04:001. we should have a pot where every one put in a f...1. we should have a pot where every one put in a few bucks ($5?). winner takes 50%, 2nd takes 30%, 3rd takes 20% or something like that.

2. 8 games is a lot. and the campaign may get bog down because of it being just a series of games. we should consider an over arching plot more than just conquest (which can gets old). Consider either character advancement or something like searching for the One Ring (as I previously proposed).fracashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18249307516231136868noreply@blogger.com
